Contacts being blacklisted

First, I want to say I am loving this application.....I had a lot of New York phone numbers bombarding me with "Loan Application Approvals" and I started blocking the New York area codes and my phone has been very quiet.....something that hasn't happened in a while.

I was using Verizon Call Filter but your app is superior in the fact that it allows more than 10 area codes to be blocked, so thank you for that.

I do have one slight issue with the application, I have blacklisted all numbers from the 813 area code.
Since I have an 813 phone number (but no longer live in that area) telemarketers like to call with an 813 phone number constantly, which is why I blocked the area code to begin with.

The problem is I have a few contacts with the 813 area code, even though "Skip numbers in Contacts" is set ON the contacts are still being treated as a blacklisted number. It even shows those contacts in the "Recents" tab with their name then Blacklist under them.

Is there a workaround or a fix coming for this?

Thank you again, appreciate all the hard work you've put into this application.

Hello!

There are several solutions to this problem. First, however, could you please confirm whether you have added the entry +1813 to your personal blacklist? What does your blacklist look like now?

Thanks for the quick follow up, yes the +1813 is in my personal blacklist

and my general setting look as follows:

This is on version 1.24.1 of the product, if needed as well.

Screenshot of the Recents tab, Colton is in my contacts and has an 813 number:

Cloud Wildcards have not been configured/utilized

Thank you,

Todd

Hi Todd,

Sorry for the long wait for a response - we’re currently in an active development phase.
The easiest way is to use a cloud list instead of a blacklist. Cloud lists have a lower priority than contacts, so numbers in your contacts will not be blocked.

I can help you create a cloud list, just send me all the area codes you want to add, or even just screenshots of your blacklist. After that, you’ll install the cloud list and the problem will be solved.
