Hi. If you only want to block one area code, you can do the following

1. Enable the 'Skip numbers from contacts' option.
2. Enable the Use wildcards option (Expert settings)
3. Add an entry to the blacklist: +1316*

You mean the contacts stored on your phone?
If so, turn on the "Skip numbers in contacts" option in Settings.

Yeah I have it active and was still blocking for some reason. I just added them to the white list and it allowed them back through. Thankfully was only a couple. Much appreciated all the help.

Hello! I dont see a list to block area code 877 or 812 area code numbers. Could one be created?
I enabled wildcard in the expert settings and tried to enter +1887* and +1812* but is said no list found

Hi @diekleinehexe2 ! Your PayPal cloud list already has the right format and can be installed in the app. Just go to the Cloud wildcards settings and select it there. After that it’ll load and start working. If anything goes wrong, just let me know and I’ll help you out.

We realise that wildcard lists are not a simple tool and many people may have difficulties in creating them.

Describe in free text what kind of list you want, which numbers it should block and which numbers it should not block.

Hi!

To block a single region, you don’t need to use a cloud list.
Just open the Callfilter.app → Settings → Blacklist, and add the entry:

+1772*

This will block all numbers starting with that area code.

If in the future you need more complex rules (for example, multiple regions or mixed filters), we can then create a cloud list for you.
