Callfilter app do not take my contacts members

Hej,
On my Fairphone 5, I've been using Fossify contact to store my contact, and when one of them try to call me the app do not permit it.
It is as the app do not recognize my contact I have the filter : Block everything except contacts.
When I use Google contacts all work fine : is this normal ?

Hi Frederic,

Yes, this can be normal.

Callfilter.app can recognize contacts only if they are stored in a contact source that is visible to other apps through Android. If Fossify Contacts stores them in its own private/local storage, Callfilter.app may not see them as contacts.

That would also explain why everything works correctly with Google Contacts.

So for the “Block everything except contacts” filter, the contacts should be stored in a standard Android-visible account, for example Google Contacts or another contact account visible to other apps.
