Hello,

Regarding this block9 list, what do you mean by IP call number ?

Thanking you in advance,

A happy user of your app 😉

+339 numbers usually come from subscribers to an internet and landline number provider.

I don't know if this relates to other spam numbers.

Yeah, got it!

In that case, of course, they don't need to be blocked. And such a blocking list is completely unnecessary.

My mistake

In fact, it's quite complicated.
+339 was, at start, only for VoIP. Then, in ~2012, the French internet provider Free started to assign to their fixed-line telephone subscribers this number. Then, less than 5 years later, Free stopped to assign it and gave the possibility to get rid of the +339 and be assigned a geographic number (from +331 to +335).
So, nowadays, +339 are to a very large extent only VoIP calls (without anything to do with Free). But some people kept their +339, since the change to the geographical number must be expressly made by the subscriber.

Is it possible to know which numbers in the +339* area code belong to the Internet provider Free? We can exclude these numbers from the list to avoid erroneous blocking.

Sorry for the late answer.
No, it's not possible to know if a phone number is from Free ISP or not.

No problem :)
I think this list is no longer very relevant, as there are much more accurate and thoughtful ones available
