Block area code except for contacts

Please let me know if I'm wasting my time with this app.

Been trying to block an area code but still allow my contacts with the same area code to ring through.

Nothing seems to work.

Using the free version.

Oh, I did search the forum, but I could not find anything that would help me.

Would be nice if there was an option to import my contact list into my whitelist. That would definitely help.

Hi! Yes — this is possible, even in the free version:

1. Open Callfilter.app → Settings → Filter priority and enable “Always allow contacts”.
   After that, calls from numbers saved in your contacts won’t be checked/blocked, even if they match a blocking rule.
2. Then install a Cloud list with the area codes you want to block.
   Reply here with the area code(s) (for example: 212, 305, 702). I’ll create a list for you and tell you its name — you’ll just install it in the app.

Done! From now on it will work exactly the way you want.

could you please clarify what exactly you want to block:

1) all calls except this area code
or
2) only calls from this area code?
