• After the latest Callfilter.app update, some users may have noticed that Always allow contacts or Block all except contacts was turned off. This was a developer mistake. We’re sorry for the trouble — we did not intend to disrupt anyone’s settings.

How to not use the public database and only wildcards ?

Hi,

Thanks for the app,

I've got an HR call for a job opportunity blocked this morning based on a single negative review,

Is it possible to ditch this custom database altogether and only use the set up wildcards ?

Hi @lolalilo

At the moment you can only do this with a workaround: create your wildcard list and put +1*= as the last rule.
Replace +1 with your country code

This rule will allow all phone numbers that are not blocked by other rules without checking.

And in July a new version of the app will be released, in which it will be possible to do this simply by means of settings.

Thanks for your reply, i'm not sure where i should put +1*=, i have a black list and a white list, when adding to those i have a "Phone number" input, and a "Name or title" input ?

Hi @lolalilo ,

This can only be done using Cloud wildcards:

How to do:

1. Create your cloud list
2. Put +1*= as the last rule in it.

I would be happy to help or make a cloud list for you at your request
