• After the latest Callfilter.app update, some users may have noticed that Always allow contacts or Block all except contacts was turned off. This was a developer mistake. We’re sorry for the trouble — we did not intend to disrupt anyone’s settings.

If this happened to you, please re-enable the options in Filter priority.
Note: Ignore contacts is now called Always allow contacts.

Auto send an SMS to unknown numbers

Hi, I think the most innovative feature that can be integrated is an SMS alert to all numbers not in the address book and not in the database.

In this way, for example, you can alert a legitimate caller whose number you do not have by automatically writing them an SMS like "Hi, I do not accept calls from unknown numbers. If you need to contact me use WhatsApp or an SMS, thanks".

Hi! We are looking into this possibility and I will get back to you later.

Hi, any news about this function? It's really a big feature!

Hi! Yes — quick update 🙂

This feature is already implemented, but as a separate small companion app that works together with Callfilter.app (it can auto-send an SMS after a blocked/unknown call).

Right now we’re dealing with a pretty problematic Callfilter.app update. As soon as we get through that, we’ll publish the companion app for testing. I expect it won’t take longer than about a month.
