App blocking allowed area codes

Hi,

using version 1.33.1 on Android, I enabled the use of wildcards and set up local (not cloud) block lists for each big area.
+1*
+2*
+3*
... etc. you can imagine

Then I set up the allow list to allow
+49*
0*

My thoughts where: Blocking all international numbers, allowing numbers of Germany and allow regional numbers. As I have read, this is the way.
(I personally was not sure, cause coming from IT a firewall would put deny over allow if not ordered, so my allow rules would be void)

In the last few days I received calls from 040 and 0351 which are German area codes, but those got blocked instantly. Does the app now see 0 as +?
When I checked the app's list, it was schizophrenic, because all blocked calls were listed green, still.
As +4* was my blocked entry for "Europe" it listed the 040 entry as allow list but name Europe. And for 0351 it always listed as Germany but still the incoming call got blocked and redirected to my voice mail, only to see it listed as green in the app.

Have to say, this is not what I expected, so was I wrong? I have set German as default country in the app.

Let me know, please.

Cheers

Hi @Benutzername
this is very strange or incorrect app behavior.

Could you please send the full blacklist and whitelist configuration (as text or screenshots), along with a couple of example numbers that trigger this behavior? I’ll try to reproduce it.
